NEWS  15.08.2011 | 2012 Chrysler 300C With New Transmission The introduction of the first 8-speed transmission in a vehicle of this type is big news for the 2012 Chrysler 300C. The automatic transmission DFG is provided by ZF of Germany and will be built by Chrysler's Kokomo Indiana production facility. The new 8-speed transmission will be first installed with the Pentastar V6 engine, other combinations with more models and motors will follow later in 2012. DFG significantly reduces the fuel consumption. The new 2012 Chrysler will be available in Belarus and Moldova starting December 2011 with the engines Pentastar 3.6 V6 (petrol) and 3.0 V6 (diesel).
